Double Bandanna Dress
We had Pack Meeting last night for my sons Scouting program. They had a bike rodeo and we all had to wear these bandannas for it. They bought the bandannas at the dollar store and everyone got to pick their own color.
When we got home I didn't know what to do with them. I didn't want to just throw them away. I remember seeing a thing about pillowcase dresses and figured I could do the same thing with these 2 bandannas.
What you need:
2 bandannas
1 shoelace
A sewing machine
Scissors

This is how it turned out.
ADORABLE!!
2 bandannas
1 shoelace
A sewing machine
Scissors
Instructions:
1- Lay out your bandannas.
2 - Cut each bandanna into 4's.
3 - If you have 2 different colors then alternate the squares like it is in the picture.
4- Fold the right side pieces over top the left side and sew the seam on the right. It should be the unfinished edge.
5 - After you have the 2 squares sewn together, open them up and lay the other two sewn pieces, right sides together, and sew them together. This will make a complete square again.
6 - The after you have both squares all sewn, take them and lay them on top of each other, right sides together again and sew the opposite ends so it make a complete circle like in the picture.
7 - Determine your top of the dress. Cut out an arm hole and use the piece from one side to cut out the exact same shape on the other side.
8 - I went ahead and sewed a seam around the arm hole. You can leave it or put some fray stop on it if you don't want to sew it.
9 - The take your top part where your neck will be and make a seam that you can thread threw your shoe lace.
10 - I took my shoe lace and cut off the finished ends and then cut it in half.
11 - Thread threw the shoe lace on each side and tie.
Absolutely Adorable!!!
